It amazes me how many web pages and ads have ZERO Call to Action like they assume the users will just do exactly what they want no matter what. That just isn't the case we are consumers to we need to be told the features and benefits of your product/services. Then a clear direction of what or where the users should go to get all these benefits.

Internet Usage on Smartphones Continues to Grow Rapidly

Google conducted a study of cell phone users in the US, the UK, France, Germany and Japan and found that globally, smartphones are on the rise. Not a big surprise to anyone in the mobile marketing industry.

The UK had the highest concentration with 45%, up 15% from the first half of 2011.

The US is looking at 38% and Japan is the lowest with only 17%.

While the grandfather of Smartphones,  Japan has the highest percentage of daily internet usage on the smartphone.

Germany has seen the largest increase in the mobile web usage from the start of year as compared to results at the end of the year.

If this doesn't excite you about the Mobile Marketing, you need to check your pulse.
